My sweet little iBook met with an unfortunate accident that slit the membrane of the screen, it seemed to nearly self repair for a while but now the entire screen has nearly split apart. Does anyone know if there are any issues with picking up another iBook (used) and swapping screens? I've been quoted that it would cost a grand to replace the membrane. Any suggestions or advice?
