my screen disappeared! topic posted Tue, June 27, 2006 - 4:12 PM by Linda

My ibookG4 screen started getting wavy, so I turned it off, waited, and turned it back on. I got disk chatter, but a black screen. When I hit volume, I got noise, and my caps lock lights up, so I think it's the screen. I didn't drop it or anything. Can anyone tell me what happened and what to do to fix said problem?

sound like a possible fried logic board...happened with my g3..

    Just be sure you backup your data first! Your hard drive will come back blank, if you send it to apple for any repair.
